Ms. Schafer has been involved with children and adults with disabilities for over 30 years. She has a child and grandchild with disabilities.

Experience in developmental disabilities

Ms. Schafer works at the Dept. of Education and represents it on the Council. She has served as an Education Specialist in the Special Education Policy Section. She also taught Special Education in the Saint Francis school district.
