Interest in developmental disabilities

Having twin boys with Autism Spectrum Disorder has opened my eyes to all disabilities. I want to learn all I can to help them and others in our community.

Experience in developmental disabilities

I have twin 7 year old boys with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Sensory Integration Dysfunction, which led me to start a support group for families of children with special needs with another parent. I am learning to be a better advocate for my children and the families in our support group. My goal is to be a "voice" for the people in our community.

Anything else about yourself

My wonderful family consists of my husband, Brian, my daughter, Kyrie, 11, and my sons, Dakota and Dallas, 7.
